[Event] 6 days of Unkonscious around Pattaya and Bangkok, Thailand.

Howdy, my first post here, for those who don't know me, I've addicted to trance since the late 90's and been lucky to have been able to attend more festivals around the world in the more recent years: Marc's Festivals Page

 I had been told about Unkonscious several times, but never really looked into it because it was in the middle of my snowboarding season. Things lined up this year though so that I could go snowboarding in Japan and then "hop" towards Bangok. Bangkok is honestly quite far from SFO (and even worse if you're not on the west coast), so having a stop in Japan definitely helped. For others, I do recommend going to Thailand 4 to 7 days early to go visit (you can spend 4 days in and around bangkok easily, see thailand 2023 ). 

This year, the Unkonscious team did a fantastic job making the long trip worth it (even if most attendees were from Asia and had shorter trips). 
There were 2 days of pre-parties, 2 days of Unkonscious main festival (all 4 within a 30mn drive of Pattaya, and you could just use grab or bolt to get around for cheap), and then 2 more days with evening after parties in Bangkok (bangkok is almost 2H away depending on traffic).  Both after parties ran from around 21:00 to 03:00 or so (give or take an hour).  This allowed for sightseeing during the day before more partying at night.

I'll put a quick summary below, but you can find the full festival report of all 6 days on this page .  Yes, I brought and wore my LED outfit, and yes it was out of sheer stupidity considering how warm and humid it was. Definitely the most sweating I've ever done :)

During the day, I was a bit more reasonable, LEDs don't work in full sunlight anyway:




Day #1 was on a floating island, cool venue:

Day #2 was a beach party at a different club:

Days 3 and 4 were the main festival which 4H pool party followed by 8H main party and 4H after party  (12:00 to 04:00 daily, yes, that's 16 hours)


Days 5 and 6 were clubs in Bangkok. Needless to say that by Sunday night/monday morning (day 6), we were spent.  Barely made it to the airport for an early flight out monday morning and sleeping on planes back.  This shirt is no joke :)
